Joel Golombeck was born in 1985 in New York. In 2008, Joel received his undergraduate degree from NYU with a BS in Studio Art and enthusiastic participation in as many creative writing and digital art classes outside of his major as he could manage - enabling him to begin experimentation with visual, multimedia narratives. In 2011, Joel graduated from Parsons with an MFA in Design & Technology, focused on interaction design for both web and tablet platforms. His thesis work explored the impact of digital tablets, such as the iPad, on the fiction reading experience and designing possibilities for the future of multimedia reading and story production.

Joel has expertise in illustration, design and storytelling - and is fueled by a passion for technology. He currently lives and works in NYC and would love to hear from you.
